AN ADVENTURE YOU’LL NEVER FORGET | KRUGER SHALATI
Life is for living, right? However, it is up to each of us to go down the least trodden path, lose ourselves…and then find ourselves again!
I did just that, with intent to find myself and rediscovered that there truly is no place quite like the bush, to bring me back into ripe existence, bursting at the seams with bubbly enthusiasm and newfound excitement!
As I take it all in, it seems as though I quite suddenly have been catapulted into an alternate reality, one where I must pinch myself ever so often as a reminder that this is in fact real! Life is ‘Alhumdulillah’ (meaning, blessed in Arabic) and I am most thankful for my journey and experiences thus far.
Now… this is where I invite you to climb aboard the 4×4 safari vehicle (my life) and join me on my latest escapade, Kruger Shalati – The Train on the Bridge. It has been classified as a visceral experience, encompassing an age-old history of the Selati Bridge and the start of the wondrous ‘Kruger Safari’ story from back in the days of 1923, spanning almost a century and hectres of the Kruger National Park. In the quest to bring this unique product to market, the focal point is ‘The Train on the Bridge’. It is a celebration of the ‘African Warrior queen, Queen Shalati’ an extraordinary woman, ever ready to battle the ill forces in her quest for humanity, peace and protecting her clan (The train name is inspired by the African Warrior Queen Shalati! A fitting tribute indeed!). It makes for a riveting read and amidst all the pomp and celebration, sits the re-purposed train on the bridge! One must take a moment, or three (and not forgetting to breathe) just to appreciate this unintrusive man made wonder. For us ‘humans’ it most certainly is an ‘oasis’ within the Animal Kingdom, from which we get to appreciate Nature’s harmony, whilst indulging in a variety of gastronomical spoils.
I have the privilege and honour of representing this product in a professional capacity, as sales manager… so please bear with my bursting excitement!
Hospitality and service plays a focal point creating a beatific cohesion of ultimate indulgence and pampering, yet profoundly simplistic and unobtrusive. Its people bring about a magical sophistication to the destination, which renders one ‘amazed at every opportunity’. The place oozes a charm that simply romanticizes ‘romance’! To all those soon to be wedded couples and honeymooners, why not exhilarate in the completeness of your romance with Kruger Shalati as the ultimate ‘getaway’ aphrodisiac!
Birding and wildlife enthusiasts, where better to experience mother nature in all her grandeur, than at the Kruger National Park showing off with its abundance of birdlife, wildlife, aquatic life coupled with an ‘all natural’ symphony of bush sounds. Insider Tip: Just before you give in to the lull of sweet slumber on those luxurious super king beds in room, leave the sliding door to your Juliet balcony open, whilst keeping the screen closed to keep out the bugs. The symphony of bush sounds complemented by the cascading waters of the Sabie River below and nocturnal wildlife calls, all adds to the grandeur of your environment… AND for a greater treat – leave the curtains drawn open to appreciate the beauty of the rising moon and if you are an early riser (like me) being greeted with an ‘African’ bush sunrise is simply mesmerising!
If this is not enough to temp you into action and visit Kruger Shalati, perhaps the delectable cuisine or sweet treats during High Tea on the pool deck or ending of a great day out in the bush with a sublime dessert…
I leave the rest to your imagination and suggest you ACT on your burgeoning travel impulse… it is a real treat, rest assured!
Now wouldn’t you want to include this onto your bucket list experiences?
